The World Boxing Organization (WBO), led by Francisco Valcárcel, and Jake Paul's Boxing Bullies have opened a new gym in the Cabrera neighborhood of Utuado. This gym aims to keep local youth engaged in boxing and off the streets.
The gym features a new boxing ring, training equipment for all skill levels, and remodeled bathrooms and floors. It will be managed by Orlando Samot, Wilfredo Guzmán, and Jorge Luis Nieves.
Valcárcel emphasized the importance of the gym, saying, "The gym is the best place for young people. Here they learn to be courteous, respectful, humble, and disciplined." He also noted that Mayor Jorge Pérez is committed to the gym's success.

Batista Salas highlighted the gym's role in channeling youth violence into positive activities through boxing.
Francisco Correa of Boxing Bullies added, "We want to provide a space for young people to develop as individuals and athletes, getting them off the streets and into a better quality of life."
Former world champions Samuel Serrano, Alex “El Nene” Sánchez, and René Santiago were among the notable boxers present at the event. The initiative promises to support the youth of Puerto Rico and foster a positive community environment through boxing.
