The Los Angeles Lakers are shaking things up after the departure of head coach Darvin Ham.
Following Ham's firing, the Lakers have swiftly parted ways with their entire coaching staff, according to reports from Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times and ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Among those let go is assistant coach Phil Handy, who has been with the team since 2019. Handy, known for his respected coaching skills, had been considered a possible replacement for Ham.

However, with the Lakers eyeing potential candidates like Mike Budenholzer, Kenny Atkinson, and JJ Redick, Handy's name wasn't on the list.
Despite a slight improvement in wins under Ham's leadership, the Lakers suffered an early playoff exit this season.
