In a luncheon hosted by Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, NFL legend Tom Brady, along with rap icon Jay-Z, shared vital advice with six first-round NFL Draft picks. Brady emphasized the importance of team over individual accomplishments in their professional journeys.

The event included Chicago Bears No. 1 pick Caleb Williams, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, New York Giants receiver Malik Nabers, and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers.

Brady, known for his team-first mentality, warned the rookies against focusing too much on personal branding and social media. "When you have 53 guys on the team, you think it’s about you. It ain’t about you. It’s about us," Brady stated. He stressed that prioritizing individual fame over the team would not lead to success.

Jay-Z echoed the sentiment, highlighting the importance of work ethic and discipline. "Your talent gets you there," he said, "Your work ethic and your discipline takes you to where you want to be."

Rubin also shared his own experiences, emphasizing perseverance and hard work over educational background or skill.

Each rookie listened attentively, taking in the wisdom from their successful predecessors. As they prepare for their first NFL season, this advice could be crucial in shaping their professional attitudes and ensuring their long-term success.
