Sparks' Rookie Cameron Brink Injured, Ruled Out After Knee Injury Against Connecticut Sun

Los Angeles Sparks rookie forward Cameron Brink suffered a left knee injury during the first quarter of Tuesday's game against the Connecticut Sun.
Brink, the No. 2 pick in the 2024 draft and former Stanford star, was carried to the locker room and later ruled out for the rest of the game.
The injury happened as Brink drove to the basket and collided with Sun center Brionna Jones. Brink fell to the court and initially limped off but had to be carried off the court.

Brink has been impressive on defense this season, averaging 8.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game.
She recently scored 16 points against the Atlanta Dream, her second-highest total in her WNBA career.

Brink had a stellar college career at Stanford, winning a national title in 2021 and earning Pac-12 Player of the Year twice.
