Cameron Brink, one of the top rookies in the 2024 WNBA draft, has announced some exciting news.

Alongside stars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, Brink has been a standout in the league. Drafted No. 2 by the Los Angeles Sparks, Brink has shown her skills, especially on defense.

She’s averaging 8.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game, tying her for second in blocks in the league with former MVP A'ja Wilson. Despite the Sparks struggling this season, Brink’s performance has been impressive.

On Monday, Brink shared that she has been named a Tom Hansen Medal Winner, an award given to the top male and female student-athletes at each Pac-12 school.

Stanford’s athletics social media account announced the news, which Brink reposted.

Brink played four years at Stanford, winning an NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship in 2021 and being named Pac-12 Player of the Year twice.
