Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are known for their fierce rivalry in women's basketball, which started during their college days. They faced off in important NCAA tournament games, including the Final Four and a national title match.

On Saturday night, however, they joined forces for the first time as teammates. They played together for Team WNBA and helped secure a surprise win over Team USA in the WNBA All-Star Game.

Reese had a standout performance with a double-double, while Clark contributed 10 assists, aiding Reese’s 12-point effort.

Reese shared her excitement about playing with Clark during the game. "It’s so cool, I know when she gets the ball I’m running looking for the ball because I know she’s gonna throw it,” Reese said. “So, she’s been great to play with.

I mean, the future — we’re going to be playing with each other a lot. Hopefully, in 4 years we’ll be Olympians together.”

Both Reese and Clark are top contenders for WNBA Rookie of the Year. This game is likely just the beginning of many times they'll play together, possibly as perennial All-Stars and future Olympians.
