Team USA won big against Serbia, 110-84, in their first game at the Paris Olympics.

Stars like Kevin Durant and LeBron James shined, but Jayson Tatum did not play at all.

This surprised many because Tatum had a great season and helped Team USA win gold in Tokyo.

Fans and experts wondered why head coach Steve Kerr didn't let Tatum play.

Some thought he might be sick, but Tatum said he felt fine.

Kerr likely believed the team had a better chance without Tatum for this game.

Despite this unusual decision, Team USA still won easily, so there's not much to question.
