Big Disagreement Between Warriors And Klay Thompson Revealed

The Golden State Warriors and Klay Thompson have officially parted ways. The four-time NBA champion is now joining the Dallas Mavericks. 

According to a recent article by Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe, a major disagreement between Thompson and the Warriors played a big role in the split.

Washburn explained, "Thompson, despite missing two full seasons with injuries, felt he was nearly the same player he was before and the Warriors didn’t agree.

Thompson felt he should have been given a four-year deal like Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins, even though neither has met expectations."

Thompson had multiple talks with Warriors head coach Steve Kerr about not chasing his former self and focusing on who he is now. 


As he starts with the Mavericks, it seems Thompson will benefit from not having the constant reminders of his past performance.

Hill wants to race Lyles in a 50-yard dash and made it clear on social media that he's serious, telling Lyles to "sign the contract." This all started after former NFL stars Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson mentioned Hill's speed, suggesting he could beat Lyles. USA Sprinter Erriyon Knighton Faces Possible 4-Year Ban After Positive Doping Test

Photo: Erriyon Knighton (Instagram) Erriyon Knighton, a 20-year-old American sprinter who just missed winning a bronze medal in the 200 meters at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is now facing a possible four-year ban from the sport.  The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) is challenging a decision made by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), which found Knighton not at fault for a positive doping test before the Olympics. Knighton tested positive for Trenbolone, a substance commonly found in livestock.
