Tom Aspinall is eager to fight Jon Jones, and Daniel Cormier believes there's a way to make it happen. Since winning the interim championship, Aspinall has been trying to get Jones to agree to a unification fight, but Jones has shown little interest.
Cormier, a former UFC champion, shared his thoughts on how Aspinall could "force" the UFC to make the fight happen. On July 27, Aspinall will defend his interim title against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 in Manchester, UK. Despite the fight taking place early in the morning to suit American viewers, British fans are excited to see Aspinall in action.
This fight is a rematch, with Blaydes having won their previous encounter due to an injury Aspinall sustained. Fans are eager to see if Aspinall can overcome this setback and perform well enough to convince Jones to fight him.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Cormier said, “Could you imagine if Tom Aspinall just washes out Curtis Blaydes?” He added that a dominant win by Aspinall could create such fan demand that the UFC would have no choice but to set up the fight with Jones.
If Aspinall can’t get Jones to fight him, he's open to challenging Alex Pereira, the 205-pound champion. At UFC 303, Pereira made headlines by knocking out Jiri Prochazka with a head kick. Aspinall has expressed interest in fighting Pereira if he moves up to the heavyweight division.
In a recent interview, Aspinall praised Pereira as “one of the best fighters in UFC history” and reiterated his desire to face him in the octagon.
