Jake Paul knocked out Mike Perry in the sixth round at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Paul dominated the fight, knocking Perry down three times before the referee stopped the match at 1:12 of the sixth round.
Facing a smaller opponent with weak defense, Paul took advantage, landing powerful punches that Perry couldn't handle. Despite his toughness, Perry struggled against Paul's size and reach.
Paul praised Perry's resilience but noted his own hard-hitting style. "He's tough as nails," Paul said. "Respect to Mike Perry. I just hit too hard."
After the fight, Paul called out former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson for a match in November. He also challenged UFC champion Alex Pereira, saying, "Alex Pereira, you said you want to box, I’m the king of this. Come over, we can make it happen."
Perry showed grit but couldn't keep up with Paul's speed and power. Despite the loss, he acknowledged Paul's skill. "You did a great job, you were way too fast for me," Perry said.
