LeBron James has a new nickname: "Captain LeMerica." Basketball Reference added it after a tweet from USA Basketball.
This happened after James led Team USA to a big win, 110-84, over Serbia in their first game in the group stage on Sunday.
James, who is also known as "King James," scored 21 points, had nine assists, and grabbed seven rebounds in the game.

At 39 years old, he is trying to win his third gold medal at the Paris Olympics, which might be his last.
"Captain LeMerica" is the latest in a long list of nicknames for James, including "The Little Emperor," "The Akron Hammer," and "L-Train." It's been a while since these names were used, but "King James" has remained his main nickname.
