Shaquille O'Neal Tries To Convince Dana White To Bet $1 Million On The Bulls

Shaquille O'Neal has a wild plan to make $100 million this NBA season. The Hall of Fame center wants to bet $1 million on the Chicago Bulls to win the NBA Finals. On his podcast, "The Big Podcast with Shaq," he tried to get UFC owner Dana White to join him in the bet.

"If we bet $1 million on the Chicago Bulls, who have the worst odds ever, and they win it, we win $100 million. ... I want that $100 million! I want the Chicago Bulls," O'Neal joked.

"Shaq, that's crazy," White responded. "How about you put up $500,000 and I put up $500,000, and we play Baccarat and actually win?"

O'Neal didn't like that idea. He prefers to play craps. He also asked White if he would put up $250,000 with him and two others to reach the $1 million. White said no.

According to Fanatics Sportsbook, the Bulls' odds to win the NBA Finals in 2024-25 are +50,000. If O'Neal and White made the bet, they could profit $500 million, much more than O'Neal's $100 million prediction.

But the Bulls probably won't go far in the playoffs next season. They recently traded DeMar DeRozan to the Kings and lost Andre Drummond to the 76ers in free agency. The team is focusing on younger players now, trading Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey, drafting Matas Buzelis, signing Jalen Smith, and re-signing Patrick Williams. They also have Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Julian Phillips, and Dalen Terry.

With such a young roster, the Bulls are unlikely to be a top team next season.
