The Philadelphia 76ers have signed forward Guerschon Yabusele to a one-year deal worth $2.1 million, according to sources.

Yabusele recently made headlines by helping France win a silver medal at the Olympics.

Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing 260 pounds, Yabusele was originally drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2016.

Though his time with the Celtics was brief, he's now getting another shot in the NBA after playing in China, France, and most recently, Spain.

During the Olympics, Yabusele had standout performances, scoring 22, 17, and 20 points against Canada, Germany, and the United States. His strong play caught the attention of the 76ers, who could use more depth at the power forward position.

With the 76ers making big moves this summer, including signing Paul George, Yabusele has a chance to earn a spot in the team's rotation. Over the last three years, he played for Real Madrid, where he averaged 9.6 points per game and helped the team win the EuroLeague title in 2023.
