Caitlin Clark had a standout performance in her first game back from the WNBA's Olympic break.

She scored 29 points and made 10 assists, leading the Indiana Fever to a 98-89 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Friday.

Clark's 29 points were just one point shy of her career high. In the final seconds of the game, she had a chance to break her record but chose not to take a shot.

Instead, she let the shot clock run out, handed the ball to the referee, and accepted the turnover since the game was already decided.

Fans loved this sportsmanship from Clark, as she could have easily tried to break her own record but chose not to.
