Caitlin Clark, a star player for the Indiana Fever, recently shared her thoughts on the high cost of season tickets and the low salaries in the WNBA.

After helping her team win against the Seattle Storm, Clark was all smiles during the post-game press conference. But when the topic of WNBA salaries came up, her tone changed.

Clark mentioned that buying season tickets for her family would be too expensive, joking that it would cost her entire salary. She pointed out that WNBA players don't make as much money as NBA players.

For example, Clark, who was the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, is making a little over $76,000 in her rookie year. Her four-year contract is worth $338,056. In comparison, Zaccharie Risacher, the first overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, signed a four-year contract worth $57 million.

Despite the low salaries, Clark has found other ways to make money. She has reportedly earned about $3 million through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals, and she also signed a big endorsement deal with Nike.
