Floyd Mayweather, known for his perfect 50-0 record, stirred up some controversy with his ranking of the top five greatest boxers of all time.
Mayweather, who often calls himself "The Best Ever," put himself in the top spot, which wasn't a shock to many. However, the rest of his list raised some eyebrows.
Surprisingly, Mayweather didn't include boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. Many fans believe Ali should always be in a top-five list, and while Tyson's place is debatable, his absence was still notable.

Mayweather also left out other big names like Sugar Ray Robinson and Sugar Ray Leonard, both of whom are often considered among the greatest boxers ever. Instead, Mayweather named four other boxers to join him in his top five.
During an Instagram Live with Fat Joe in 2020, he listed Pernell Whitaker, Roberto Duran, Larry Holmes, and Aaron Pryor as his picks. Mayweather praised Holmes for his skills and longevity in the sport, while he mentioned Pryor's only loss came because of drug issues.
Mayweather, now retired, still participates in exhibition matches. His next fight is set to take place in Mexico, where he'll face John Gotti III in an unsanctioned bout.
