LeBron James and Team USA secured their second win at the 2024 Paris Olympics, defeating South Sudan 103-86 on Wednesday afternoon.

Team USA entered the game with a 1-0 record after beating Serbia 110-84 over the weekend.

In the fourth quarter, with 8:54 left and Team USA leading 75-58, LeBron grabbed a rebound and sprinted down the court. As he crossed half-court, he collided with South Sudan defender Marial Shayok, sending him to the floor.

The referees called a foul on Shayok, but many thought it could have been a charging foul on LeBron. Fans quickly took to social media to share their thoughts on the play.

LeBron is playing in his fourth Olympics, having won gold medals in Beijing (2008) and London (2012), and a bronze medal in Athens (2004). So far in Paris, he has started every game for Team USA.

He scored 21 points with seven rebounds and nine assists against Serbia. Against South Sudan, he scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds, and had five assists.

LeBron is playing alongside his Lakers teammate Anthony Davis and for the first time with Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.
