LeBron James, star of the Los Angeles Lakers, helped Team USA win against Puerto Rico at the Paris Olympics on Saturday. The victory gave Team USA a perfect 3-0 record.

James scored 10 points, had eight assists, and grabbed six rebounds. So far in the 2024 Paris Olympics, James is averaging 14.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 6.7 rebounds per game.

He was ranked as the top player for the MVP award by FIBA after the first two games, and this win will likely keep him at the top. This summer, James is playing in his fourth Olympics.

He is one of the most successful basketball players in Olympic history and ranks near the top in many Team USA stats. On Saturday, he made history by moving into fourth place for career assists at the Olympics.

With 22 assists in the first three games, James leads Team USA in this category. He also ranks fourth in assists per game at the Paris Olympics and is in the top 20 for both points and rebounds.

One of his eight assists on Saturday was a highlight, as he made a behind-the-back pass to Joel Embiid that went viral.

James, who has already won two Olympic gold medals (in 2008 and 2012), has Team USA in a great position to win another. Team USA remains undefeated in the Group Phase and aims to keep dominating in Paris.
