Boxing legend Mike Tyson is gearing up for his match against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, scheduled for November 15 at AT&T Stadium. Although the fight was originally set for July, it was postponed due to an ulcer problem Tyson experienced. This will be Tyson’s first official fight since 2005.
Tyson recently appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast, "Impaulsive", where he opened up about a darker side of himself that he believes must come out during the fight. He referred to this side as "the killer" within him, a part of himself he doesn't like but feels he needs in the ring.
Tyson explained, "When that tough guy Mike Tyson comes out when it’s not necessary, I always end up in handcuffs." He shared that in the past, this side of him often led to trouble, especially when mixed with alcohol or when preparing for a fight.

The 58-year-old fighter admitted that this "killer" side haunts him, but he knows it’s essential for his match against Jake Paul. He expressed his wish that this side of him would disappear, but he also acknowledged that it’s necessary when facing a formidable opponent like Paul, whom he views as a "killer" as well.
Tyson also talked about how he manages to suppress this darker side in his everyday life. He credits his love for his family and his use of cannabis for helping him stay grounded. Despite his efforts, Tyson said that this "killer" version of himself is always close to the surface, ready to come back when needed.
Tyson has had legal issues in the past, including a 2006 arrest in Arizona for DUI and drug possession, where he pleaded guilty and spent 24 hours in jail. He has since tried to keep that part of his life under control.
As the fight with Jake Paul approaches, Tyson is preparing to bring out this "killer" side in the ring, where he believes it belongs. With a 50-6 career record, including 44 knockouts, Tyson is ready to face the younger fighter, who has a 10-1 record with seven knockouts.
