Savannah James has played a big role in LeBron James' success. She's not just his wife but also a businesswoman and a great mom. Savannah recently shared an important lesson she taught LeBron early in their relationship.

On her podcast "Everybody's Crazy," Savannah talked about how she didn't like being called "wifey." She felt the term didn't respect her properly and told LeBron to stop using it.

She said, "Don’t call me your wifey. I am not. … I had to politely tell my husband back in the day. He used to introduce me, ‘This is my wife. This is my wife.’ I had to pull him to the side like, 'Excuse me, sir, don’t introduce me as that, please.' I am not your wife, and I deserve that title when the time is right.”

Savannah wanted to be known by her own name and not just as LeBron's wife. LeBron understood and changed how he introduced her. This respect and understanding are part of why their relationship has stayed strong since high school.

Recently, during a trip to Paris, LeBron showed his appreciation for Savannah. When they met NFL legend Tom Brady, LeBron told him, "It wouldn't be possible without her, I tell you that."
