Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors star, had a huge game for Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics semifinals against Serbia.

After struggling with his shot throughout the tournament, Curry came alive in the first quarter of this game.

He scored 17 points, hitting five three-pointers, which accounted for almost all of Team USA's points in the opening quarter.

One of Curry's threes was a classic "look-away" shot, where he turned away from the basket before the ball even went in. The crowd and Team USA's bench went wild, and Curry added another three-pointer before the quarter ended.

A photo of Kevin Durant and Anthony Edwards celebrating Curry's big performance has gone viral.

The Warriors' official account on X (formerly Twitter) shared the picture, and it quickly gained over 1,500 likes.

Curry's performance was a big deal, especially since he had only made five of his 20 three-point attempts before this game.

But in this quarter alone, he hit five out of seven. His strong play helped keep Team USA in the game as Serbia started hot.
