Tom Aspinall, the interim heavyweight champion, showed his toughness at UFC 304 in Manchester. Despite being awake for 24 hours before the fight, he knocked out Curtis Blaydes in just 60 seconds.

Aspinall, 31, was in the co-main event, which took place after 6 a.m. He shared that he couldn’t sleep the night before because of negative thoughts about the fight. By the time he entered the Octagon, he had been awake for nearly a full day.

During the fight, Aspinall wasted no time. He dropped Blaydes in the first minute and finished him with ground strikes, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

After his win, Aspinall called out Jon Jones, the current heavyweight champion, challenging him to a fight. Aspinall believes he’s the best heavyweight in the world and wants to prove it against Jones. He even suggested that Jones was hoping for his defeat and has been silent about facing him.

Aspinall is set to be the backup for Jones’ upcoming fight against Stipe Miocic, but he feels he shouldn't have to wait for his chance. He’s confident that he can beat Jones and is eager to show who the real champion is.
