Caitlin Clark made her WNBA playoff debut on Sunday against the Connecticut Sun. It was a tough game for Clark, as she struggled with her shooting early on.
The Sun quickly took control in the second quarter and didn’t let go of their lead. During the game, Clark was accidentally poked in the eye by DiJonai Carrington while passing the ball.
No foul was called, but by the end of the game, Clark had a noticeable black eye. This wasn't the first time Clark and Carrington had a run-in.
Earlier in the season, Carrington had mocked Clark for a flop. Now, as the Indiana Fever get ready for Game 2, they will need to fight hard to keep their season alive.
