Keisei Tominaga, nicknamed the "Japanese Steph Curry," made an impressive debut for G League United in their 99-81 win over Serbia's BC Mega MIS. Tominaga, known for his 3-point shooting, didn’t disappoint.

He entered the game in the second quarter and quickly made a catch-and-shoot 3-pointer, showing why he's earned comparisons to NBA star Steph Curry.

Tominaga finished the game with 12 points in 17 minutes, shooting 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc.

He also wowed the crowd with a tricky reverse layup and a few highlight-reel passes, even though some didn’t lead to baskets.

Tominaga, a former Nebraska player, says he’s still learning how to create space for his shots, a skill he admires in Curry.

In fact, Curry is Tominaga’s favorite player, and earlier this year, Tominaga became the first international athlete to sign with Curry’s brand. He was thrilled by the deal, saying, "It means a lot to me."

Tominaga's next game will be against BC Mega MIS again, and then G League United will head to Singapore to compete in the 2024 FIBA Intercontinental Cup. Fans are already excited to see what more he can bring to the court.
