Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has a new back tattoo showing him holding the NBA championship trophy. The tattoo celebrates the Celtics’ 2023-24 NBA championship win.

Tatum shared the new ink on Instagram. Tatum was a key player for the Celtics, helping the team win their 18th NBA championship.

They beat the Dallas Mavericks in five games. After a slow start in the first two games of the Finals, Tatum improved and ended up averaging 25.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in the last three games.

In the final Game 5, he scored 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, sealing the victory for the Celtics.

Next season, the Celtics will aim to win back-to-back championships, something that hasn’t been done since the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018. Tatum, a five-time All-Star, is expected to play a big role once again.
