Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' hit song "Die With a Smile" has maintained its spot at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S. charts for the fifth consecutive week. The song, released as a stand-alone single, showcases the talents of both artists and continues to attract a large audience.

On September 27, Gaga also released her new album, Harlequin, which adds to the excitement around her music.

The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, established in September 2020, rank songs based on streaming and sales from over 200 countries. The Global 200 includes worldwide data, while the Global Excl. U.S. chart focuses on data from countries outside the United States. Rankings are determined by a formula that takes into account streams from both subscription and free music services, as well as download sales from digital retailers.

In the week from September 20 to 26, "Die With a Smile" had 117.8 million streams, a slight increase from the previous week, and sold 9,000 copies, a small decline. This song marks the first No. 1 for both Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars on these charts.

Notably, "Die With a Smile" has achieved over 100 million streams globally for four consecutive weeks, outperforming other hits like Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which each held the top spot for three weeks.

Since its debut at No. 2 on the chart on August 31, "Die With a Smile" has seen steady growth in streams each week, starting with 75.2 million and increasing to 117.8 million. It’s the first non-holiday song to have four straight weeks with over 100 million streams since The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” did so in 2021.

Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” holds the No. 2 spot on the Global 200, after a three-week run at No. 1 in August. Meanwhile, Carpenter has three songs in the top 10, making her the first artist to achieve this feat in five weeks this year.

In the top five, Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” stays at No. 5.

"Die With a Smile" also leads the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 93.9 million streams and 5,000 sold outside the U.S. for the same period. Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” follows at No. 2, while Carpenter’s “Espresso” rises to No. 3.
