LeBron James, star of the Los Angeles Lakers, sent a short message to Golden State Warriors' Steph Curry on Instagram. Both NBA legends played a key role in helping the U.S. Men's Basketball team win gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Curry shined as the top scorer, with 60 points in the last two games, while James took home the MVP award for his all-around performance. Fans were thrilled to see the two basketball greats working together, sparking rumors about a potential NBA team-up.

While it's unlikely, the idea has been gaining attention. Recently, LeBron added to the buzz by commenting on Curry’s Instagram post, where Curry shared photos with his wife, captioned "Enjoying life!!!" LeBron responded with a simple, "You damn right!! The only way."

Talk of a Curry-James partnership isn't new. Earlier this year, there were reports that the Warriors checked on James’ availability before the trade deadline. Now, some experts suggest the Warriors should try again if the Lakers struggle next season.

The idea of these two stars teaming up, possibly even with young star Victor Wembanyama in San Antonio, has fans talking, but it’s still just a fantasy.

Despite the rumors, it’s clear that LeBron and Steph have a lot of respect for each other, as shown by LeBron’s latest Instagram comment.
