Taylor Swift has endorsed Kamala Harris for president after the recent debate between Harris and Donald Trump

Swift made her announcement on Instagram, signing the post as "Childless Cat Lady." This was in response to a comment by Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, who had previously called Harris and other Democrats "childless cat ladies."

In her post, Swift said she’s voting for Harris because she fights for the causes Swift believes in. She praised Harris as a "steady-handed, gifted leader" and said the country could achieve more with calm leadership, rather than chaos.

Swift also complimented Harris’s choice of running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for his strong support of LGBTQ+ rights and women’s rights. Swift’s post included a picture of her with a cat and came after a fake AI image falsely showing her endorsing Trump appeared on his website.

This is not the first time Swift has backed Harris. She also supported the Biden-Harris ticket in the 2020 election. Swift’s Instagram post has already received millions of likes, and she encouraged her followers to register to vote.
