Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have stepped up to help after Hurricanes Helene and Milton hit the southeastern U.S. The couple donated $1 million to Feeding America, a group that helps provide food to people in need.

Feeding America shared the news on October 10, thanking Lively and Reynolds for their support. The organization said the donation will help food banks provide clean water, food, and other supplies to people affected by the storms.

The donation comes after their close friend, Taylor Swift, gave $5 million to the same cause. Feeding America also thanked Swift for her generosity, saying her help will make a big difference for families recovering from the disasters.

Hurricane Milton, which hit Florida on October 9 as a Category 3 storm, has caused at least 10 deaths. Hurricane Helene, which struck six southern states last month, resulted in over 200 deaths.

Governor Ron DeSantis reported that 19 tornadoes touched down during Milton, adding to the devastation. Both storms have left many communities in need of help as they begin the long process of rebuilding.
