Conor McGregor hasn’t fought in over three years, but many UFC fans hope he will come back in 2025. McGregor’s last fight was in 2021, when he lost to Dustin Poirier twice.

Since then, McGregor has focused on his business ventures, including his Forged Irish Stout and his involvement with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). UFC president Dana White thinks McGregor will return to the UFC next year.

McGregor was supposed to fight Michael Chandler earlier this year after their appearance on The Ultimate Fighter, but an injury forced McGregor to pull out. Chandler has since moved on to other potential fights, like a rematch with Charles Oliveira.

White said that McGregor has made a lot of money from his businesses, making it hard for him to find the motivation to fight again. But White still believes McGregor will be back in 2025, though there’s no fight or date set yet.

McGregor has hinted at wanting to fight Dan Hooker in February, possibly in Saudi Arabia. However, Hooker has turned down the offer, as his wife is expecting their second child around that time. Source: Bloody Elbow
