Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is setting the record straight after a viral video seemed to show him criticizing Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James during a recent preseason game.

In the video, some fans thought Booker said, "He's just no good," after Bronny missed a free throw. Booker took to social media to deny the claim, calling out how quickly the video spread.

Bronny, the son of Lakers star LeBron James, played 17 minutes in the game, scoring four points and grabbing two rebounds. While his preseason performance had ups and downs, his best game came against the Golden State Warriors, where he scored 17 points and filled the stat sheet in 35 minutes. The Lakers lost that game 132-74, but Bronny was able to showcase his talent.

Though Bronny may not play a major role in his rookie year, he's using these preseason games as a chance to grow. "It gives me confidence going into the season," Bronny said. "Even if I'm not playing much, it helps me in practice and with my overall game."

As a young player with a famous father, all eyes will be on Bronny's development this season. Source: Breacher Report
