Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant had a worrying moment during a preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.
This game was important for Morant, who played only nine games last season due to a shoulder injury and a 25-game suspension for previous off-court incidents.
In the first half, Morant had an injury scare but returned to the game. However, shortly after, he had another concerning moment.

After a dunk, Morant was seen limping and went back to the locker room. This has raised concerns for the Grizzlies, who are already dealing with injuries to GG Jackson, Vince Williams Jr., and Jaren Jackson Jr.

Jackson is expected to miss a few months with a foot injury, while Williams is out for several weeks. Jaren Jackson Jr.'s injury is less serious, as he’s recovering from a hamstring strain.

The team is hoping Morant’s injury won’t add to their list of setbacks as they prepare for the regular season.
