Lady Gaga is back with a chilling new music video for her latest song, “Disease.” The video, which dropped on Tuesday, October 29, is part of a Halloween "double feature" with her live performance of “Die With a Smile (Live in Las Vegas).”

On Instagram, Gaga opened up about the song’s meaning, sharing how “Disease” is about facing inner fears. She said, “I think a lot about my inner demons. It’s not easy for me to face the chaos inside. ‘Disease’ is about accepting the parts of myself that I can’t always escape.” She added that through dancing and embracing these feelings, she’s found a way to handle them. “I save myself by keeping going. I am strong, and I am up for the challenge,” she wrote.

“Disease” gives fans a preview of Gaga’s upcoming seventh album, set to release in February. This album will follow her recent jazz project, Harlequin, which launched alongside the movie Joker: Folie à Deux. That album went on to top the Billboard jazz charts.

For her "double feature" release, Gaga also dropped “Die With a Smile,” a live Las Vegas performance with Bruno Mars. This song, which has a 1970s feel, topped the Billboard charts for eight weeks. In the song, Gaga and Mars sing, “If the world was ending, I’d wanna be next to you… And die with a smile.”
