Lady Gaga Thinks It’s 'Cool' Miley Cyrus Introduced Her Music To Joaquin Phoenix

Joaquin Phoenix, who stars with Lady Gaga in the upcoming Joker: Folie à Deux, wasn’t always familiar with her music. 

In a recent interview, Lady Gaga reacted to a fun video from 14 years ago where Miley Cyrus introduced Phoenix to Gaga’s song "Bad Romance."

In the video, a young Miley tells Phoenix she likes Gaga’s music. Phoenix jokes, pretending to know Gaga’s songs, but gets the titles wrong. Miley then starts singing Bad Romance, and Phoenix still doesn’t recognize it.

Watching the video, Gaga laughs and says, “I know what I’m showing him later. That’s so cool.”

Joker: Folie à Deux, where Phoenix returns as the Joker and Gaga plays Harley Quinn, is set to hit theaters on October 4.
