LeBron James, star of the Los Angeles Lakers, recently shared his thoughts on playing alongside Stephen Curry. The two NBA greats teamed up earlier this year during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as part of Team USA, helping lead the team to a gold medal. It was the first time they had played on the same team in their careers.

This week, James and Curry will face each other again, but this time as rivals. The Lakers and Golden State Warriors will play two preseason games — one on Tuesday at the Crypto.com Arena and another on Friday at the Chase Center.

James and Curry have a long history, having faced each other in the NBA Finals for four straight years when James played for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry's Warriors won three of those matchups, while James and the Cavaliers claimed one victory.

Over the years, their relationship has grown from rivals to friends, with James even acting as a mentor to Curry early in his career. That friendship deepened during their time together at the Olympics. James spoke about the experience, calling it "everything and more." He said he was thrilled to finally team up with Curry in a high-pressure environment like the Olympics, adding that it’s a memory he will treasure for the rest of his career.

As for whether they might play together again, James said he has "no idea." Both players are nearing the end of their careers, with James entering his 22nd NBA season. Curry, who has spent his entire career with the Warriors, may have more years left, but it’s uncertain if either would leave their current teams to join forces in the NBA.

For now, fans will have to wait and see if James and Curry will ever team up again.
