The Los Angeles Lakers recently assigned Bronny James to their
G-League team, the South Bay Lakers. Bronny is expected to stay with the main Lakers roster for Friday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers before joining the South Bay Lakers for their game on Saturday.

The South Bay Lakers play at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, California. When Bronny steps onto the court for his G-League debut, it’s expected to be packed.

According to Arash Markazi of the Los Angeles Times, tickets for Saturday’s game against the Salt Lake City Stars (the Utah Jazz’s G-League team) have already sold out. On the resale market, prices are starting at a hefty $200.

Bronny is likely to move between the NBA and G-League, only playing in home games for the South Bay Lakers. Throughout the season, he’ll often be back in L.A. alongside his father, LeBron James.

The 20-year-old has appeared in four of the Lakers’ first eight games this season. So far, he’s averaging just 1 point per game, along with 0.5 assists and 0.3 rebounds. Bronny will use this time in the G-League to work on his skills and try to secure a regular spot in the NBA. Source: Sports Illustrated
