Pop star Chappell Roan has parted ways with her management team, just as she celebrates her first Grammy nominations, including nods in all four top categories. Her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, is up for Album of the Year, while her hit “Good Luck, Babe!” is nominated for both Record and Song of the Year. Roan is also in the running for Best New Artist.

Sources confirm that Roan has left her management company, State Of the Art, where Nick Bobetsky had been guiding her career since 2018. Bobetsky, who helped Roan rise to fame with her first Billboard Hot 100 top 10 song and a top 5 album, recently spoke about her busy schedule of new music projects.

Roan has had a big year, making her debut on Saturday Night Live and performing at the Governors Ball festival. However, she’s been open about challenges she’s faced, including what she called “toxic” fan behavior.

In a recent Instagram post, Roan expressed that she’s careful about setting boundaries with fans. “When I’m at work, I’m at work,” she said, adding that she doesn’t feel obligated to give time or attention outside of her performance roles.

In her post, she reminded followers that standing up for herself is important, saying, “If you see me as ungrateful or my statement upsets you, maybe ask yourself why.” Source
