The fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson was one of the biggest events of the year. Despite some technical issues and mixed reactions, everyone was talking about it. UFC President Dana White, who had doubts about Tyson’s ability to fight, admitted that he was wrong.
At a press conference, White explained that he expected Tyson, who is in his late 50s, to be knocked out quickly. "Mike was right, and I was wrong," White said. He had been worried about Tyson getting hurt, especially after urging him not to fight Roy Jones Jr. for the same reasons. White also had concerns about Tyson's fight with Jake Paul.
"I told him, 'Mike, you're basically 60 years old,'" White said. Tyson, however, wasn’t worried. He responded, saying Paul wasn’t good enough to beat him. “You honestly think this kid’s going to do anything to me?” Tyson asked.

During the fight, Tyson looked slower than before, even tripping as he walked to the ring. But despite his age, Tyson proved his skills, as Paul couldn’t manage to knock him out.
White went on to praise Tyson’s ability to still draw a big crowd. “Mike Tyson shows up, and everyone makes money,” he said, noting that Tyson made a lot of money from the fight. Paul, on the other hand, was left in a tough position. If he had knocked Tyson out, he would have beaten an older man. But since he didn’t, it showed he couldn’t even take down a nearly 60-year-old fighter.
In the end, Jake Paul won the fight by decision, but Tyson came out on top financially, earning $20 million and proving he still has star power in the boxing world. Source
