Rapper Moses 'Shyne' Barrow recently shared that he’s let go of his anger toward Sean 'Diddy' Combs, his former boss, after he says Diddy let him take the blame for a 1999 club shooting. Shyne spent nearly 10 years in prison for his role in the incident, while Diddy was cleared of charges.
As Shyne promotes his new Hulu documentary, "The Honorable Shyne," he talked about the shooting and his past with Diddy. He claims that while he didn't see Diddy shoot anyone, he felt he was set up to take the fall. However, he says he has now moved on from the past. "I moved on, and I healed," Shyne said during an interview on the Tamron Hall Show.
In 2022, Shyne even joined Diddy on stage to perform at the BET Awards. Although he didn’t really want to, he did it to honor hip-hop and Belize, the country he returned to after his sentence. Diddy called Shyne his "brother" during the show, which Shyne found ironic, given how he felt abandoned by Diddy after the trial. Shyne said he wished Diddy had shown that support when his mother struggled during his prison years.

Despite letting go of the past, Shyne remains clear about the impact the incident had on his life, calling Diddy “the person that destroyed” it. He shared how hard it was for his family during that time, with little support from Diddy.
Diddy, however, denies Shyne's accusations. His team says the claims are "unequivocally false" and insists that Diddy had no role in setting Shyne up. Diddy’s representatives added that he has always supported those he's worked with and found it disappointing that Shyne is bringing up old issues.
Meanwhile, Diddy is currently in jail following recent charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. His lawyers have been trying to get him released on bail, offering a $50 million bond with strict conditions. However, there’s been no final decision yet, and his legal team’s previous attempts have been denied. Source
