Last Friday, Jake Paul defeated boxing legend Mike Tyson in an eight-round match. While the YouTuber celebrated his victory, his post-fight comments may now land him in legal trouble.
The fight, sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, was a two-minute, eight-round contest. Tyson, at 58 years old, stepped back into the ring to face Paul, whose speed and stamina gave him the edge. Tyson managed to last all eight rounds, but some fans felt the fight could have ended earlier if Paul had pushed harder.
After the match, Paul admitted he held back during the fight to "give the fans a show." He told reporters, "There was a point where I thought, ‘OK, he’s not really engaging back.’ I could tell his age was showing, and I have so much respect for him."

This confession has sparked controversy. Sports attorney Dan Lust explained that in professional boxing, fighters are expected to give their all. Pulling punches could mislead fans and raise questions about the fight's integrity.
Adding to the situation, Jake Paul is currently under a 24-day suspension from boxing. This is standard procedure, as fighters are required to rest after competing, with three days of suspension per round fought.
It remains to be seen if Paul's comments will lead to further consequences. For now, the YouTuber-turned-boxer is facing scrutiny over his actions in and out of the ring. Source
