Jake Paul has turned down an offer to fight IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois. This comes shortly after Paul’s big win against boxing legend Mike Tyson. Dubois, who is still looking for an opponent for his next fight in Riyadh, invited Paul to challenge for his heavyweight title. However, Paul has decided not to take the fight for now.
Paul, known as “The Problem Child,” beat the aging “Iron Mike” in a fight that attracted millions of viewers. Although the match didn’t live up to the hype, it was a financial hit. After the fight, offers from top fighters started pouring in, including from light-heavyweight champ Artur Beterbiev and WBC bridgerweight champion Kevin Lerena.
Dubois’ offer stood out, sparking plenty of talk in the boxing world. Initially, Paul seemed interested, even calling the chance to fight for a heavyweight title "funny and unexpected." However, his manager, Nakisa Bidarian, later revealed Paul isn’t ready for the fight yet.

“Jake wants to test the limits of what’s possible, but not now,” Bidarian said. “He’s focused on other goals, like becoming a cruiserweight champion.”
Paul, 27, is expected to drop back down to the cruiserweight division for his next fight. This is seen as a better fit for his natural weight. Still, the newer bridgerweight class could also give him a shot at a title in the future.
Meanwhile, Dubois’ promoter, Frank Warren, says a new opponent for the heavyweight champ will be announced soon. He didn’t rule out the possibility of Paul and Dubois meeting in the ring someday. Source
