Joe Rogan, known for his hit podcast and UFC commentary, once found himself flying into a wall during a playful scuffle with UFC legend Mark Coleman.
The incident happened in 2022 after one of Rogan’s comedy shows. Rogan, a skilled martial artist with a background in kickboxing and taekwondo, decided to engage in some friendly wrestling with Coleman, a former UFC heavyweight champion. Things quickly escalated when Rogan tried to take Coleman’s back.
In a clip of the moment, Coleman escapes the hold and gives Rogan a powerful shove, sending him crashing into a wall. As tensions seemed to rise, someone in the background called out, "Hug it out," diffusing the situation.

Coleman later shared his side of the story on the Jaxxon Podcast. “It started as a hug, but it turned into a little wrestling match,” he said. “Joe had my back—or so he thought—but his grip wasn’t strong. I was clearing some space, and he was off balance. I threw him into the wall. Thank God he wasn’t hurt.”
Despite feeling bad about the shove, Coleman added, “Joe was cool about it. He couldn’t believe how strong I was.”
This wasn’t the only time Rogan found himself in a dangerous situation. In another story, Rogan shared how he was almost robbed by a gang while walking to teach a class.
When Rogan refused to hand over money, the gang became aggressive, threatening him. But Rogan, quick on his feet and trained in martial arts, managed to handle the situation, turning what could have been a scary encounter into another incredible story. Source
