LeBron James, star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, is still going strong in his 22nd NBA season. At almost 40 years old, he recently made history by recording back-to-back triple-doubles, making him the oldest player ever to do so.
He achieved this during the Lakers’ wins over the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors, scoring 19 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds against the Raptors and 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists against the 76ers.

Most players close to LeBron’s age are retired or thinking about it, but LeBron is proving he still has what it takes. His season stats show he’s averaging 23.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game.

LeBron hasn’t given a specific date for retirement but hinted after Sunday’s win that he plans to keep playing as long as he’s still performing well. He said, "I won’t play until the wheels fall off. I’m not going to be one of those guys." LeBron shared that he’s grateful for his abilities and wants to make the most of them while he can.

When he does decide to retire, LeBron will be remembered as one of the best players in NBA history. He’s the league’s all-time leading scorer, a four-time NBA champion, a four-time MVP, and has been an All-Star a record 20 times.

For now, LeBron is focused on helping the Lakers chase another championship. Source
